Note from a Meander Comedy Radio listener:

Just a note to tell you how much I enjoy Meander Comedy Radio on Live 365. I very much appreciate that you select fairly clean artists, and that you "reduce volume" where necessary. I love clean comedy. Many of the artists you play are new to me -- so far my favorites are Jim Gaffigan, Mitch Hedberg, and Brian Regan. But seriously, how can you beat Jerry Seinfeld? I STILL laugh hardest at his stuff.

Thanks for the boost, and keep up the great work!

Kind regards,

Punish the people, not the breed

It's people who train pit bulls to be mean, so why aren't there tougher laws for owners who abuse this breed and train them to fight?  Myths abound about the pit bull- myths that need to be dispelled.  Yes it is tragic, when someone gets hurt, but is the owner of a mean dog the one that truly committed the crime? The meanness?  Watch this video, in the MEANDER PETS section.

Kiss Internet radio goodbye

New Copyright Royalty Board decision nullifies Small Webcaster Settlement Act, threatens tobankrupt thousands of legitimate Internet broadcasters.  More than 10,000 radio stations, playing everything from Classical to Country, Talk radio stations playing comedy and gospel teachings are now at the mercy of the major label record companies, the Copyright Royalty Board, and their collectors, SoundExchange.

The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) is currently trying to shut down thousands of Internet Radio Stations.

They are also trying to make artists believe that the huge rate increase they want to impose is a good thing for their careers.  In fact, the new rates, while killing Internet radio, will also kill the careers of Independent and major label artists as well.  Don't buy into it.  Help us keep the Internet radio voice alive.

The internet is the last bastion of free speech.  Don't let the government silence it.  It's up to all of you.  Click the banner at the top of the page to find out more.
